SUTTON-IN-ASHFIELD GREYHOUND STADIUM

The greyhound track in the town of Sutton in Ashfield was built around the local Sutton Football Club on Avenue Ground and situated at 1° 14' W 53° 7' N. The market town is situated just 4 miles west of Mansfield and was one of 3 tracks in, or near, the town. See Mansfield Field Mill and Woodhouse for details of the other 2 tracks.

It was an independently run track which opened in 1931 and remained operational for over 40 years.
